The next day i went to the Library looking for some books that might help me in doing my research papers. Looking for books, i grab some chemistry book in additions to my Research paper when someone from my back suddenly also grab the book. And when i turn back, i just felt strange again. My heart started to beat fast again, and `wanna guess who's at my back ? well, it was the guy from yesterday. Since we are in search of the same book, we shared it with each other doing our research papers.

While doing our Research papers, we had a little conversations ..

".. oh by the way, I'm Dale"
(Grabbed my Hand to do Handshake)

"Nice to Meet you ! I'm Shane"

After spearing some time doing our research papers in the Library, we both Left but before that ..

"Shane, ahm. can i know your cell number ?"

"oh sure. its 639 ** **** ***"

"Got it ! So, ill just text you okay ?"

"Okay !"

After that day. We got Acquainted with each other, knowing each other's personality, likes & dislikes, hobbies and some other stuffs. Dale is fun of playing Basketball and spend most of his time using computer, while i like spending my time with my friends. Those are some of the stuffs we shared to each other.

As days past by we got to spend more time together. chatting, eating lunch, doing home works in the library, and even stay up late talking on the phone.

I can't understand the feeling when we're together. talking and spending some time with each other. I'm experiencing some strange emotions towards him.

Telling my friends (Ella & Mae) about the strange emotion I'm feeling, they got it to a conclusion that i must have been fallen in love with Dale but how could that be possible ? No one will ever like someone like me, I'm such a dumb & ugly girl. No one will dare to like someone who's old fashion. A girl that doesn't know how to dress up & make up.

2 Days before the Promenade, while eating at the canteen with Dale ..

"hmm, Shane .. are you joining the Promenade ?"

"hmm, yea. why ?"

"i just want to ask .. if you have a date ? if not yet, can i ..."

"ahm, Honestly i don't have yet. No one ask me out."

"Now you have !"

"huh ? what do you mean ?"

"Shane, Can you be My Valentine ?"

After him asking me like that, my heart skipped a beat.

"Of course !"

And we both Hugged each other like we are Boyfriend and Girlfriend.

"... Can you be My Valentine ?".

In my 4 years of staying in High School iv'e never yet experience dating with someone. duh, who can possibly like me ? I'm such a Dumb & Ugly Girl. No one will dare to date someone who's Old Fashion. A girl that doesn't know how to dress up & make up.


Every one is busy preparing for the upcoming promenade that will happen on the exact date of the so called "Valentines Day".
Many girls are excitedly expecting for the guys to ask them out on the upcoming event in our campus.

While Ella, Mae & Me were not totally excited about this upcoming event. Because if you don't know on our previous Promenade, neither the 3 of us was been asked for a date. we just sited on our table and wait for the Disco Song to play for us to dance without any partner. So, this year we are not expecting for a Date.

Few days before the Promenade. When i was hurriedly walking on the hallway going to my next class, I accidentally slipped on the floor but for some unknown and unexplained reasons a guy showed up and catch me before i fall into the floor and we stare each other for a couple of seconds.

"oh .. ahm .. Thanks .. for Catching Me?"
(Embarrassed Smile)

"Nah, that's nothing ! next time be careful in walking, okay ?"

"hmm. i will. So, i better keep going before i get late in my next class"

"Okay. See you in the future."
(Smiling)

Walking towards my next class. i felt strange, starting when i almost fall into the floor and a mysterious guy showed up. I just felt that my heart beats fast during and after what happened.

Moving on .. during our Economics, I don't know why I keep on thinking and imagining the things that happened on the hallway, knowing it was one of my embarrassing moments. And because of not paying attention in class, Suddenly my teacher called me to answer his question and failed to gave him an answer.

After class Ella and Mae asked me ..

"Hey Shane ! what's wrong ? you seems different today ?"

"yea. you even failed to give an answer on our Economics teacher's very simple question"

"oh. uhm. me ? I'm fine. its just that something happened today."

"huh ? what is it ?"

"when i was hurriedly walking going to our economics class i slipped on the floor .. then someone catch me"

"hah ! Really ? is he cute ? handsome ? what ? what did he says ? what did you do ?"

''hmm, kinda. oh it was nothing, he just said that i must be more careful next time. i didn't do anything because i just said thanks and leave."

"oh girl. he must be your soul mate !"

"Oh Please, Stop saying stupid nonsense Ella ! I don't believe in those soul mates - soul mates"

"Stop Denying Shane ! Look at you ! your like a tomato blushing like that !"

"Bbblushing ? I'm not blushing ! Can you please cut it out ?"

"Okayyy .."
